Join social group dinners at hidden gem Greater Boston area restaurants.
Come join this New York Appreciation Group Dinner — a night to talk about all things NYC! Hosted by Ruth, who was born in Boston but spent 44 years in New York City, this dinner is for anyone who loves the Big Apple. Whether you grew up there, lived there for a few years, or just enjoy the city’s energy and culture, you’re welcome to join the conversation and connect with fellow NYC enthusiasts! We’re choosing Muqueca for this event as a nod to Ruth’s book publishing days in midtown, where 47th Street—known then as “Brazil Row”—was a vibrant hub of Brazilian culture. It’s also where Fafá, Muqueca’s owner, got her start in the restaurant world before bringing her flavors to us!
Join this dinner at Muqueca in Inman Square! We’ll sit around a table and have seafood moquecas with plantains, mariscada, fried yuca, Brazilian cod cakes, then housemade Brazilian desserts. Read our interview with Fafá on the Restaurants page. This is a group meal to join if you like seafood!
